Oh my god, I've been digging through their server and it looks like they got direct connections to stuff only the upper brass can see. Hell they even got most of the files on everyone at HQ.
I'll put it this way. If they're encrypted like us, place cameras like us, and have our files, they're most likely us.
Could be a test. See what happens when they put an anonymous guy in front of the most screwed up agent in the base.
> Comm link lost . . > Welcome Agent_Tanton Way ahead of you, looks like some guards were checking out my spot, so I had to bail. And while i'd love to ask about what you mean, I have to deal with the mess in the archives.
Well uh... We probably won't hear back til tomorrow on what the point of this was, command is probably sleeping.
The only thing that's still bothering me is that the last thing I pulled off their server was that it was communicating with another one. Now while I couldn't pinpoint where the other server was, it's general location was somewhere in south america.
Servers like to talk to other servers, could just be a data bank or something. Just heard back though, he is, in fact, a new recruit. It wasn't a test, someone just messed up a couple forms so the paperwork didn't get submitted properly and nobody here knew he was coming. Sorry about that, @Manakias! I can let you out of that cell now, since it's clear you're not here to destroy the facility any more than Dylan is.
Since you're a recruit, and you've been cleared to be here, I'd be happy to give you an explanation now. You're currently in the headquarters of the Black Watchmen. We stop bad things from happening. I'm sure if you stick around long enough you'll understand exactly what I mean. That means you have to survive though and HQ has been a death trap lately. As for why you've been brought here... Looks like you've been recruited! Congrats on the job. You'll want to head to the Recruiter offices to get your email and terminal logins so you can see when your official orientation will take place, and all the other nuts and bolts of your new job.
Bit of an interesting... 'interview', one could say, but I ultimately appreciate that I've been taken on board. Thanks! -He would then head to such a recruitment office, and ironed out all the little details, the logins that woman talked about, orientations, and such. When he finished, he had a decently large bundle of papers under his arm, and was again looking for that woman who stopped him from getting tranq'd a third, fourth, and likely fifth time.-
You probably shouldn't worry too much about safety, push comes to shove you get new bionic limbs, but if the worst should come to pass we've grown to be quite efficient at disposing of the dead. I wonder happens to the bodies, do we have a morgue, or crematorium here? And speaking of bionics, is there anyone still alive in the bionics department? I'm kinda gonna need a replacement... again.
You don't remember? I was fighting Bertha and my laser overheated, and then we dropped a B-52 payload on top of it. So yeah, I blew it up.
