@Fable, like I said, tingling could be something on my end rather than yours, so it's safe to discount it. I get tingles sometimes.

Thank you, Aetheros I think these files will definitely come in handy. You mentioned something about not wanting to open a portal to the other universe until you were sure their universe could handle it, because of cracks in it, have you made any headway with that? I think we'll be able to get these two home soon. Middipper, thanks for helping me, I've finished my research with Middiffer for now. I would still like to test some things with Dylan's lookalike, but for now I'll be focusing on looking through all the notes on the eye and looking for anything useful for my research.

That's fine, I can send dylanalike down to you whenever you need him.

Well @Fable the problem is, that the eyes were used very frequently in the lookalike's world and the portal closing again doesn't really leave the fabric of their world intact. We describe the resulting leftovers as trace energy, but as you know and are probably about to say, trace energy of teleportation spells and devices allways disappears after a while. Which is correct and is caused by a process regenrating the fabric over time, using the energy the dimension produces to do so.

The problem with their is that there are too many and, since they kept the rifts open to transfer "time energy" as they call it, also too big tears in the fabric of their world. They are also all originating from the same spot in the universes inner, three dimensional space. The overlap of the energy signatures inside the universe cause the fabric irregularites to stagnate the healing process and even slightly tear apart more and more over time.

But I have found something interesting when I compared the energy patterns of the eyes with the energy patterns that I monitor with the TDRM. They are almost the same, only the offset and amplitude is slightly off. So I might be able to construct a machine that harnesses the energy of the eyes, shifts it into the right offset and amplitude and uses it as some kind of dimensional "umbrella" shifting the process from tearing apart to healing again. It would still take about 2 quadrillion years to have the rifts causing the instabillity to close. But their world would atleast stop ending. This also means they can't use the eyes to do what they initially did with them anymore for 2 quadrillion years, because if only one more rift ritual is completed, their universe will sprial into its doom.

As I'm sure they can still read this somehow, thing is, they could steal more eyes and stabilize their universe as they go on about their villany. But they'd allways have one to little eyes to sustain the damage these rifts cause to their dimension. And dont forget that the decay ratio of their world rises exponentially with the amount of rifts that are created inside their milkyway.

You really don't need to worry about them starting shit again, @Aetheros. At least, not my double, and I don't think Dylan's will either but I can't be as sure about him as he's not as similar to me. In the interest of transparency, let me make it clear as to WHY they are no longer a threat.

Initially, I was cooperating with both of these doubles. Mine, at least, has been in our reality much longer than the Dylan-double(it's possible he's been around for the same amount of time and I just didn't see him). My reasons for cooperating were valid at the time, and not something that I'm particularly keen on discussing, seeing as I was willing to go along with a plan to sap our reality of its lifespan on account of them. So I had a paired pendant with my double to keep her safe while she did research and eventually began the process of opening up their portal, I did what I could to make sure my double had whatever information she needed, I kidnapped Dylan in a helicopter and took him to Seattle, and I kept my trap shut and offered zero actual help when shit started hitting the fan.

However, when you somehow convinced them that their plan wasn't going to work, and MidDiffer decided to outright destroy our universe(and a bunch of others) as a result, I flipped back. I like to be on the winning team. It should be noted that I don't exactly fear death. @Kakuzen can probably attest to that, in some form. So if the choice is between my life or multiple universes, it's not exactly much of a choice. I discussed this with my double in our little conference, and she tried to call my bluff(obviously). I didn't deem it an immediate threat so instead I gave @dylanamite a chemical burn on his hand(sorry about that, again!). The doubles of Dylan and I actually seem to be good friends, and she seemed convinced enough that I was insane at that point. And it's not like I was actually bluffing, to be fair. The code I gave to @Treble will activate an implant that I have(I did mention it at some point, I think). It's from my old job. Don't know much about it, other than if someone reads that code within earshot of me I will die pretty much immediately. Everything is wrapped up nicely, even if it was a bit of a clusterfuck for a while.

TL;DR: I've got my double on the ropes enough that she shouldn't be a problem. Don't worry about her interfering. She seemed to be calling the shots, so Dylan's double is probably not a threat either at this point.

What! You knew what they were doing, and you ASSISTED them! I don't care if you're not comfortable discussing why, you'd better have a damn good reason why you'd let them get away with sapping the life out of universe and not telling us about it. This all could have been avoided if you had told us what was happening from the start, I LOST MY ARM trying to undo the mess you let happen! I'm half tempted to cut my way into Micro C and throw to you in the brig myself! Why the hell did you let this happen, why didn't you warn any one?

I do have a good reason. Like I said, can't talk about why. It's a security risk to discuss it publicly, which should be pretty obvious... If I'm willing to do some frankly reprehensible stuff because of my reasons, to talk about it publicly would invite someone else to use those same reasons as a way to gain critical intelligence or access to HQ or something like that. I have a very, very good reason, I promise. Pinky swear. You know me pretty well at this point @Gödel, you know I'm not the irresponsible type(unlike some around here). I was fairly confident that I would be able to reverse or at least mitigate the harm done by their portal thing, with the assets of the Agency working on it. I couldn't have foreseen you losing your arm, and I'm really sorry about that, honest. I would have warned someone if not for my aforementioned reasons. I don't really know what else to say here.

Also please don't try to cut into my lab. It's not done being fixed, actually.

@Treble, please tell me you kept that code secret......

I'll accept that for now, though it doesn't sit right. I think you still should have told someone, or aleast coordinate with security. Things got far out of hand, and now I don't have one.

    @Treble
What did you find out. It sounds like something went wrong. Are we going to have to put out fires?

By the way I carved "Gödel was here" into Micro C's front door with my wrist laser :p.

@MidDipper of course I kept it secret. I'm great at keeping secrets, and if I wasn't, I'd be telling you someone else's secret right now to try to prove it to you.

@Gödel nothing, I just apparently have Midd's kill switch.

I gave it to you because I guess it's technically a weapon, and you are in charge of that stuff. Also you're offsite.

That reminds me. You guys haven't seen bots running around without their nav beacon on, have you? Some of my units have lost time that I can't account for, and I'm worried someone might have gained access to the system. I've upgraded the security around them, along with dimensional locks just to be safe, but I want to know if someone's been using my Blues lately.

Uh... looks like the only guys who came into your office were janitors. They got your trashcans and cleaned some stuff off of your desk, then left.

Wait, there's.. aha hahaha.. there's a guy wearing a mask that looks like your face. It's actually pretty hilarious. Anyways, I obviously can't tell who this guy is. He even copied the clothes you were wearing that day.

    I have an idea..
Treble can you record yourself saying the code MidDipper gave you, and we can add it to a playlist, which we'll put on shuffle....
It'll be the musical equivalent of Russian Roulette for Dipper and that sounds fun.
