Yes okay so recently I've had a bit of a bad track record, but I swear it's not the norm for me. I think it's to do with the lack of missions we have recently. It was fun for a while researching for Wheeler and helping Nikel not die but it's been quiet around lately.
Sorry for the inconsistencies in my report then. To be honest, I didn't really listen when you were telling us about the turrets and bots. I just nodded at appropriate times.
It's fine, just know that anything I build/direct probably won't kill someone unless it's directly operated by a human.
Dylan, opening the book has a chance to do nothing. There is also a chance your soul will be painfully and forcefully ripped out of your body and you'll end up in a strange sort of limbo for the rest of eternity. Depends on how lucky you are. I'm still researching the dimension, so there might be a way to get you back to your body, but I don't know it yet. I wouldn't recommend it. Do these vents always make weird moaning sounds and leak green liquid?
I'll ignore that remark from Agent MidDipper. She seems to have a personal vendetta against me, and I have no idea why. I managed to lower myself down into the bearwolf enclosure. I made sure I threw some meat down there that I found in one of the communal room freezers. It sated their hunger while I retrieved the book. I haven't opened it. It's been placed in my desk drawer in my office for safe keeping. Come and collect it from me at some point tomorrow. I've got some important research to do so I'll spend all day there.
Some sounds aren't audio. When a soul is torn from its body you can, if you're lucky, hear the scream echoing through the emptiness between minds. Not that you'd know a damn thing about that, you precious thing you.
Welcome to the agency Agent Fable, I'm that aforementioned recruit that Dylan nearly killed twice. Hope you get all your books back, I'm going to be working from home for a little while, so I'm sorry I can't help you. And yes, this kind of thing happens often, and there's are reason this agency always has vacancies in it's work force, good luck. Oh and don't go into the archives without a ball of string. And being in close proximity to Agent Dylananimaite is hazardous to your health in my experience. I'd keep your distance.
Addendum to Godel's advice: Avoid the archives at all costs. Unless you work there. Then you're kind of screwed.
Another addendum to my advice: Careful in those vents, easy to get lost in, danger high speed fans, sections of them are flooded, and I know one section has a pitfall to the level where we store the bearwolves.
Buuuuttt, if you explore enough, you might find that guy's secret lair I had to trash in order to survive a flood. Probably not. But maybe.
I suppose how much I explore the vents depends on how well agent Dylanamite hid my books. Speaking of, thank you Dylanamite, I'll swing by some time to collect my book. If you do decide to open it, which you shouldn't, let me know beforehand. Observing your experience could be useful for my studies. I must say, this has got to be the most interesting welcoming I've ever had.
Well, interesting welcomes is something this agency excels at, I can tell you from personal experience.
