Well with the end of the Halloween live event, I can safely I love community live events, and I'm sad I couldn't play a more active role in the investigation. That being said I can't wait for more. I was just wondering if there has been any word about the release date of season two. I was also wondering about when did season one start and end, and if they are going two make season two bigger than season 1. Basically any info, or speculation about season 2 would be appreciated.

All aboard the season 2 hype train.

Release of Season 2 has been tentatively estimated for "before the end of the year" :)

As for number of missions and live-events, quoting from AMA #7 and #8 (You can find a transcript of each in the "From the Dev" section):

Estimate of number of Missions for Season 2:
Jarobi: Yes, at least 20, with an average of 2 - 3 puzzles per mission, just like in Season 1 - and I do say "at least".
The roll-out schedule will be similar to Season 1, so every 2 weeks.
And there are 5 Live missions as well.

    - Will there be the same number of Live Events as Season 1, or are you planning more/less?
Crux: We're aiming for the same number of live-events as last season, as well as only 1 Green level mission.
Jarobi: And green level will be decided the same way.

Edit: The below refers to the balance between Events that contain "worldwide" objectives, like the ritual from this Halloween event, versus "Local" objectives, which can only be carried out in a specific location - note that this doesn't mean they only ever happen in a few static cities, but simply that one Event may require Agent X to do Y in Z, while in another Event, it would be in A/B/C instead of Z.

    - Can we expect more worldwide Events (Falconreach/Nightfall) or Specific Locaiton Events (Silentthunder, Ivoryphantom)
    Jarobi:
We can say that we're trying to incorporate more world-wide events for Season 2, as we want everyone to be able to participate, but we also like location specific events, because we can do very specific things.
Crux: We wanted a nice balance and have a good mix in every live-event, so that it's not too heavy on global or just local. We don't want to lean to one way or the other.
