Hello everyone, i dont know where to post something like that. I thought Support might be the best section for it. It's about the Forum Profile. You can set in your Profile-Setting under "Contact Details" in the "Identities"-Section some Messengers. So since you are on Steam, why don't you add a Field to add your Steamprofile? And how about a "custom"-Field where Users can drop such as Mail-Adresses they want to be publish. And i thought about the Option to set who can see the Informations you enter. (Just like who can contact you) I think it would be great not just to set "All"/"Member"/"Followers" but also set "Orange Agents"/"Yellow Agents"/"Green Agents" additional to the "normal" ones. What do you think about that? @Mods: Is this even possible to make? (If not put my Thread into the trashbin ) I hope you understand what i meant. My English is a bit rusty and it's ver very late. Greetings AgentMurkey
Hi AgentMurkey, Nice suggestion regarding the ability to add ones Steam ID - I've added in the option. ^^ As for your other suggestion, just to make sure I've understood it correctly; you mean a setting so only Agents of a certain Clearence level can view your contact details? (i.e. the setting in your Privacy settings) Currently, your in-game profile (and thus in-game Clearence level) and your Forum profile are removed from one another - so your chosen Clearence level in-game has no impact on your Forum profile settings. So I'm afraid such an option isn't currently possible. Another side to it, is that, if our In-game Clearence Level and Forum Profiles are ever linked, such an option might potentially run the risk of alienating some Agents. For example in the case of the Agents who'd like to connect with their fellow Agents, but aren't that keen on opting in for Yellow Clearence; they'd be incapable of viewing the contact details of the Agents who only allow Yellow Clearence Agents to read their contact information. In addition, we'd also like to steer clear of giving off any impression that higher clearence levels somehow carries with it preferential treatmeant outside of the level of interaction that it's specifically designed to convey. In other words; clearence level is only indicative of the level of interaction you'll experience from the game, and not an indication of status between agents. Hope that answers things a bit - and again, thanks for the suggestion, we very much appreciate it! ^^
Hi Santiak, first Thing. Yay Thank you for the fast implementation! Second. I didn't meant to close all the contact information for everyone. I meant to choose every option to set. So i could say my Steam ID is viewable for everyone. But my Skype-Name only for acceptet Friends/My Followers/Guys who i follow and so on. I agree with you. Clearence Level would be a Problem in the Forum. Everything is clear! Thank you !
