E-mail received from a Karen Willis that reads "I beg you in gods name please assist me.

    Return e-mail is
    [email protected]

Perhaps a Sargent cha in division 22?

That is precious little information to go on - having the entire email in your post might help (including the message header), please.

Right I know. No body to the e-mail. That was the header. Could be wrong number so to speak. If it isn't though, it's just a teaser to something more coming.

Replied with this to the e-mail address hoping that 'will is' will let her know we understand she is Karen Willis. As much as a reclusive scientist can be....standing by.

Karen your will is notarized and ready for signature. Contact please.

I've been looking at this, here are some thoughts...
    * Use of the word "assist" seems unusual to me - although properly english, common usage in the US would be the word "help". Perhaps that phrase is idiom in another time or place. Or, (i think more likely) "assist" is necessary because it is compatible with a coded message.
    * "s.g.t.cha.22" reads more like an acronym to me - why all the dots in the abbreviation for Sergeant (if that's what it is). Perhaps it refers to chapter 22 in a book titled "S... G... T..."
    * Searching the name Karen Willis doesn't find anything extraordinary to my eye
    * I am not very good at seeing anagrams

What I personally find interesting is the fact that there are periods in the email to begin with. It's very deliberate.

Translate the letters to numerals corresponding to their position in the alphabet:
    19.7.20.381.22

    EDIT: whoops.

As a bizarre long shot I looked up acronyms for SGT. Came across Sigma Tau Gamma. As a fraternity their CHApter 22 was in Western Michigan University (WMU) a public university located in Kalamazoo. I really felt like it was a promising lead, but it dead ended there.

I'm also nagged by the lack of punctuation in the text: no commas, god isn't capitalized, no apostrophe; either Karen Willis is a poor writer of she has an excellent mind for hidden meanings.

(So serious question... Is this a "Fan Mission" for us? Or is this legitimately something you received? If it's the latter, we haven't received any word about its... relevance.)

    Either way...

if someone is in serious danger, I doubt they'd respond right away. I'd say wait.

I would have posted in fan mission if I made it. Probably Junk e-mail unfortunately. :(

Could have been someone else who started the mission. But since it's via your email and such, let's presume it's spam for now unless the fan behind this contact me. =)

There's gonna need to be a better system. In the mean time, all official Division 66 missions will be marked the same way it was in the Barbizon mission?

Well, you will get your mission via the hub, and if you received suspect email, there will be a way for you to validate them. (White list engine)

It is spam/scam e-mail. Just got a message back asking me to receive $25M from afganastan. At least it wasn't the Nigerian prince one lol
