Unable to login regardless of login info, reset password option gives "error"

    Hi, i'm weird and that being said sometimes I take long breaks for months from certain video games for like no reason. Anyways, I took a break from TBW for a short while and now for the SECOND time in a row my username and password are simply not working when I try to login. Is this punishment for not staying active in the game or an error on my account? The reset password option is also not working when I enter the email I am 100% sure is the one I am registered with. Any help would be greatly appreciated as every time I try to enter login information it gives me "error" or "unknown error". This is very disappointing, as I am very interested in continuing to play this game. I originally posted this on the Steam forums for TBW and was told to message a mod who has yet to respond. This is not the first time I have faced this problem.

    Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
    Version of the game (found on left bottom corner):8.11

    When it has begun:2 days ago when I tried to login for the first time in a while and nearly every time I try to log in (I had been taking a break from the game for a few months)
    What have i done before contacting forums: Posted the exact same thing in Steam discussions for TBW, uninstalled and reinstalled TBW, checked and double-checked my password multiple times (I am given "unknown error" regardless of criteria) and attempted to reset my password (gives me "error" in red text)
    How/when does the issue happen (easy for duplication/troubleshoot): Every time I try to log in and/or reset my password after launching the client via Steam
    AV (Anti-Virus) name:Comodo
    Internet speed (optional):around 12-15mbps

    Hi, did you ever get this resolved? Just came across your thread in browsing, I think it might have been missed in the holiday madness.

    No, I did not. I messaged a moderator, who then added two other mods to the conversation in order to help resolve the situation on December 22nd, and I still have yet to hear from any of them.
