The 4 digit mystery.

I made this thread so we can move the conversation about this 4 digit code from the walk through section to its own section.

And @dylanamite I am headed home and we can work on it.

 

It looks like we have two quests. One is locked, the other are the number runes.

Personal theory: Clues to the solution number are hidden in the Ahnayro Sandbox in TBW, a la Puzzle PIeces.

Yeah, I had a fun look around the source code too. There's even a link to the music that plays in the background.

 

This might be completely irrelevant, but when I accidentally highlighted all of the numbers, it looked almost as if the stars created an outline of the US. Could just be a coincidence.

 

I noticed that 5 of the numbers are all on the same diagonal, and there are other number pairs that seem to point towards a single origin.
Being the mathematician I graphed it all out. Seems there are two numbers (a 3 and a 5) which don't belong. They're on the blue lines. There's also a few which don't seem to fit on a diagonal..



Unfortunately I'm working all day so can't help anymore until later on!

 

The 5 numbers in a row on dylans graph above (40135) is Christie's ID for a Stradivarius violin named "Sleeping Beauty." That's one crazy coincidence if I ever saw one.

saw that too, things being altered in dream land...???

 

i was wrong, the numbers are still there, i just didnt realised that they only appear between 7PM and 4AM

 

It's that whole, play at night thing... I usually only checked this forum at night.

 

I wonder when the locked one will be come unlocked?!
