So anybody been able to find any connections or hidden messages in the image we have been given so far? The Dream Catcher seems to generally fit the dream theme pretty well, so nothing mysterious there. The pills could be sleeping pills but I can't match their exact shape to anything. I zoomed in on the two pills on the stone and could see some kind of markings, but I couldn't make them out. I assume if I could read them they would just identify the manufacturer or brand. White stones - White and stone have various dream meanings it seems. The rune is "Thurisaz" or "Thurs" or "Thorn". It seems generally applicable to the Norse theme. I wonder if it is of specific importance? Samuel Johnson is a bit of a head scratcher for me. He is a noted lexicographer, poet, literary critic, etc. but no works seems to stand out as being of particular interest here. He has also been said to have enhanced perceptual abilities attributed to having Tourette Syndrome. I find that to be the most noteworthy thing about him. Then there is the little black book, which could be anything. This does make me wonder if this game will include any little hidden things similar to TBW's Info Pieces. I haven't dwelled on what the other things in the first picture could mean, as I'm assuming they'd be the focus of the next two puzzles that are in the game, but some little hidden things could work quite well!

Only one way to find out! There's 9 options from Odin, then 5 options from Option 1 and then another 5 from Option 2. That makes 225 combinations of routes through the tree. Anyone willing to try them all?
