So, as recently being, somewhat reluctantly, reassigned from cybertech class to scientist... I just do as I'm told, mostly. I thought I'd make a splash! I have a small test batch, 740 kg, of a silver monofluoride holy water solution thickened with kosher guar gum. I figure this would yield some versatile ammunition... I would like some collaboration on testing shelf life of the gel, manufacture of ammunition and such. Now the kosher guar gum and silver monofluoride are easy to obtain, but if this becomes popular we might want to contract a priest or something for the holy water-not just for this project either. I sure feel bad about holding that priest at gunpoint. There sure are some nice deserted labs in the subsubsubbasement by the way.

Does it matter what religion the priest is from? We have a bit of a burgeoning religious movement here on base.

ow whait, does that mean im actually able to create holy water?
or for that matter, any holy liquid?

Depends on your definition of 'holy' I guess.

well; holy water is water blessed by 'god', usually
but its never said that it has to be a specific god/goddes/entity

These are all good points... Traditionally the water is blessed by a religious official from a religion that sanctions the blessing of water, but times are changing-so problem solved. I need to consult before I force blessings at gunpoint.

OK, well, I officially sanction the blessing of water. Go forth and bless some stuff.

Do we still have those werewolves in cryo? They would be valuable for testing.

No idea. Not my department. I'm not really talking with xenobio/cryptid research right now, I may or may not have kidnapped one of their specimens-turned-mascots...

Seeing this request got me thinking about a project my lab started. We use material that was Affected/Altered by RIFT events as well as a few other chemicals we have seen in prior missions.

Well the outcome has been great. We were able to stabilize the elements and chemicals to produce a bullet tip. This still needs to be tested on live subjects, But the dead subjects we tested the material on disintegrated their tissues. Leaving us to assume it will be Extremely effective against rift entities as well as humans imbued with supernatural protection.

(NOTE) these have been tested , and are now deemed safe to handle with bare skin.
    Also these are compatible with the Field Agent Handguns that were issued recently. { as listed in a side topic }

Actually any "priest" can bless holy water not "God". So technically we can easily attain holy water. [ They could bless a tanker truck if we needed that much or any amount of water we have easily. And it is possible to make Dark water ( blessed by a dark magic priest .

Interesting, according to this you can make your own Holy water, This link shows 2 types of holy water, catholic and pagan holy water.
If you use the catholic method, You will need to believe in the gods/angels you invoke.
So if you do not believe in that, the Pagan holy water will have the same effect and you are able to make it.

I might have formulated my explanation badly, but the mystical/magical powers of a priest, come from his/her god(dess) so technically, when a priest is blessing something, (s)he actually asks his/her god(dess) to bless it for him/her.

therefore, you are not bound to a previously formatted rite, written in old times, but you should be able to create your own rite ' on the go'. (which could come in handy, when having to bless some water in times of emergency, where reciting old texts is out of the question)
All you have to make sure of, is that you are actually accepted as a priest, which is the most trickiest of all

I think the point is, if you believe in your goddess enough, you should be able to make effective holy water. And I don't think that's an issue for Zaelong.

Actually, I'm an ordained minister-I just did it so that I could perform marriages. Just got the email back from my bishop, she said I am sanctioned to bless any amount of water in anyway I see fit.

Funny that I could forget something like that, eh? My ministerial career has consisted of 3 weddings and a funeral-almost a movie title...
