Indeed, great character - and now I can't help but imagine us getting cookies when we return from a particularly horrific mission.
I can just imagine the missions now. There will be severe consequences for those that fail the mission. And cookies for those that don't. So go out there and do me proud deerie. But on a more serious note. This seems like an odd video. It doesn't seem to sit with the Division 66 that we know.
In all our dealings with Division 66, have they ever given the impression that they've outsourced their work to little old ladies in cottages who bake cookies (ok we added the cookies). I wonder what they're playing at. If it's a recruiting tool it leaves more questions then answers.
You're not the only one. Gladys seems a nice person, but every time I watch that video it gives me the creeps :/
It's her typing, rhythmic and symmetrical. She's probably controlling a drone or something from that computer. Also, as we all know, old people are inherently scary. Haven't you seen any of the good horror films?
I wonder if there's anything here behind creepy Gladys though. What was so special about 1976, what music was playing in the back ground and why would division 66 allow the head of the division (assuming Gladys is actually the head) to be appear.
Courtesy of bljkr who've looked it up, the piece is "Das Rheingold: Weia! Waga!" by Wagner. And indeed, there's a strong theme of 1975 - 1976. My initial thought was that, well, perhaps Anneliese didn't die as a result of the exorcism. Although the age may be slightly off, as Anneliese would be 61 today, but who's to say how a demonic possession might age you?
Not sure about the creepy Gladys' baked cookies. Trying to identify the plant that is featured in the video. The leaves look a lot like larkspur. As do the flowers. And that plant is poisonous. If that is the case then are her cookies too? When I get home going to work on confirming the garden blooms before I eat anything! (and loved that video, who doesn't love menace in the seemingly sweet and harmless?)
For those investigating Gladys in relation to the other trailer, it seems she does stock video work on the side (Division 66 must not pay well). Awesome catch on the flower, interesting bit of info.
A thought, did anyone try to map the very slow, two finger typing she was doing in the video? I tried a few watch throughs but it doesn't appear to be anything but stock 'busy' typing.
She seems to be watching the monitor. The typing looks something like WASD movement & weapon select/fire controls or more like she's playing a piano on computer keyboard. Perhapse she is playing Lumosity brain games.
