Oh, cool. Any chance I can sneak a peek at some of that stuff, or maybe get some sort of detector device to keep in my lab? I'm a little paranoid after all that.
We're randomly placing them throughout the base. I'm testing some of orb guns in a secure firing range if you want to check them out.
Ah, nah. I'm still celebrating my birthday, sending these messages through a mobile computer. I'm gonna be busy replacing lab techs and rebuilding Micro C's door, but if you could just point out one of the detector devices to me at some point I'd really like to at least know what they look like so I don't have a random freak-out session. I'm really walking on eggshells lately.
Good idea testing those out considering that last one blew up in my hands. Also, don't give Dylan a job involving needles ever again, he missed my vein three times before I gave up and did the injection myself.
Thanks Treble! Good work getting everything sorted out so neatly. Finally we can go back to actually getting things done around here, jeez.
OK so I don't see anything in the lab that looks like a detector device? Are you sure you left it there? It's probably not that important that I see one, in retrospect... And, Gödel, the antitoxin could have been given as an intramuscular injection as well. Maybe Dylan was just mad at you
Ok so I may have lied a little. It's hidden behind a panel above the inner frame of your door. You can take it out now, it didn't trigger so you're the real Midd. Had to be double sure
Haha. 'Double' sure. I actually already knew that was there, but you said you'd left it on the table so I didn't think that was it. I may have disabled it, btw. Random devices hiding behind panels in my lab? No thanks!
I couldn't help myself I teleported a creature into a containment unit before you destroyed them. "For science" Do not worry I belive I fixed the random and extra spawns. I have not had any issues.* *( CLASSAFIED )
I'm going to spend the night researching this Eye, and seeing if I can find it in the Archives. It's going to be a lot easier to control this situation if we can get the artifact before the doubles do. Also, I just got a trace from the helicopter that they escaped in. It's most recent destination was somewhere in Seattle. I can't quite understand why they'd escape there though.
Seattle? Weird. I can reach out to some of my contacts around there and see if they know of anything up there that they may be targeting. Dylan, if you find anything substantial, you can bring it up to Micro C where it'll be properly shielded. I've almost finished repairing the doorway.
Honestly I have no idea. Dylanalike mentioned a few things to me when I thought he was on our side. Im hoping that I can research enough to find out, and then find it if it's stored in the Archives.
Well a few days ago we had Dylanalike looking through the Archives for the Eye. And now I'm looking through the Archives for the Eye. You think you're the one getting deja vu?!
Yeah. I can't explain it though. I'm pretty sure it's not because I have a double here, I don't wear jewelry and there hasn't been anything placed on me, so I'd notice. I just feel like I should be remembering something.
I'm sending you copies of the manuscripts that I found in the archives. A lot of it I couldn't decode myself, it's written in a language that our computers couldn't recognize, most likely from a different multiverse. As for a physical description, across all multiverses the eye is a hexagonal block of block of obsidian, just about the size of a grapefruit, with an orange gem in the center, and runes inscribed around the sides of the eye that are unique to all multiverse. In addition to this there are pegs and holes on the back of each eye to connect them together. As a side note, they're all completely indestructible.
I'm sure it's nothing, we've all had a really stressful time lately and it's bound to have a bit of a psychological effect. When was the last time you had some good sleep? A real meal? Make sure you're taking proper care of yourself! Dylan is really good at decoding, I'm sure it'll be no trouble at all for him. I mean, it might be a little tough, but even I can't deny that he's got a knack for it. I haven't seen anything matching that description in the Archives, but I don't usually wind up in the parts that hold physical artifacts when I'm filing research.
